Have you heard of ‘Pay with a Tweet?’
If you’re going to be successful with Twitter, you have to have lots of followers. There are lots of different ways to get followers, but today, I’m going to focus on one. Pay with a Tweet is an easy way to build up your following on Twitter.

How Pay with a Tweet Works
Pay with a Tweet allows you to sell your merchandise for the price of a tweet. For instance, if you have an eBook, you can sell it for a tweet. People can download the eBook as long as they send out a tweet.
This tweet will go to their followers. Then, two things can happen.
First, those followers can click on the link and download the product themselves. At this point, they’ll have to pay with a tweet as well, and that tweet will go out to their followers. This will put the process in motion once again.
Second, some of the people will likely follow you on Twitter. This will help you build up your Twitter following. The bigger your Twitter following is, the more sales you can make, so this is incredibly important.
How to Use Pay with a Tweet
Before you can use Pay with a Tweet, you need a digital product. While you can choose any type of digital product, eBooks and videos are the most popular.
If you aren’t able to create the product on your own, you can hire someone on Elance or oDesk to do it for you. Simply provide the freelancers with the project details, and he will take care of the rest.
Next, you need to upload the digital product to your website and copy the URL. You’ll need this information to set Pay with a Tweet up.
Once you have your premium in place, go to http://www.paywithatweet.com/ can click on the link that says “Click Here to Create Your Download Button.”

Then you’ll need to fill out a form. As you fill out the form, pay special attention to the section that says “Tweet to be Posted.” This will be the tweet that people send out when they download your product. Thus, you need to type something in that will compel others to make a purchase. For instance, you might type, “I just bought (Product X) for the price of a tweet.” This will generate a lot of interest,
and cause others to click on the link.
After you fill out the form, click “Create My Button.” You’ll receive a code that you need to place on your website. You can place the code yourself or hire someone from Elance or oDesk to do it for you.
Pay with a Tweet is a great way to get more Twitter followers and generate exposure for your business. If you have a digital product you want to sell, consider dropping the price down to a tweet. Then, watch as your product flies off the shelves and your Twitter following goes up.
P.S. Right now, I am offering my List Building Basics eBook for the price of just one tweet!
